An award-winning dentist, Richard Petrilli, DMD, PA, has served patients in his central Florida office since 1995. In 2010, Richard Petrilli, DMD, PA, was chosen by his peers as one of the “Top Dentists” in Orlando, and he won the “Best of Apopka” contest in the dental category. This year, the American Dental Association (ADA) celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Give Kids A Smile program, which provides quality dental services to children in need. Initially designed as a one-day event in 2003, the program benefits approximately 450,000 children each year who receive dental care with the help of dentists and volunteers at more than 1,500 events nationwide. The program hosts its kickoff event, Give Kids A Smile Day, each February, with the 2014 kickoff event scheduled for Feb. 7, 2014.

Established in 1859, the ADA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the dental profession on both a local and national scale and to ensuring that all Americans have access to quality dental care. The organization represents more than 157,000 members in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.
